About the role
Assist therapists and assistants in treating all types of patients and performing other duties, including clerical duties, as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Ordering supplies
- Cleaning and restocking supplies
- Assist with transporting patients
- Assist with patient transfers and gait training
- Setting up treatments
- Scheduling patients
- Assigned clerical duties
- Communicating vital patient information to the supervising therapist/assistant or other staff as delegated
- Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training, and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior related experience
- Ability to read and write, and have functional speaking ability (required proficiency)
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages (required proficiency)
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions (required proficiency)
- Workspace must be quiet and distraction-free to comply with all security and privacy standards
- Stable access to electricity and a minimum of 25mb upload and internet speed
- Dedicate full attention to the job duties and communication with others during working hours
- Adhere to break and attendance schedules agreed upon with supervisor
- Abide by Stormont Vail’s Remote Worker Policy and review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually
