Rehab Tech – JACKSON, TN

General Summary: A nonexempt position responsible for preparing and cleaning treatment areas, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting, positioning, and assisting patients, therapists, and assistants in the successful completion of the treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Communicates with patients, families, significant others, and members of the health care team to promote maximum benefits from care.
• Obtains equipment, materials, and supplies from storage areas or appropriate departments and prepares them for use.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Responsible for the procurement and inventory of supplies.
• May also be assigned routine clerical support tasks to support the patient care process.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field preferred.
• One year of job-related experience preferred.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay

$16/hour
