About the role
This position supports the Outpatient Therapy team by organizing, cleaning, and disinfecting gyms, classrooms, and other therapy areas. The role involves assisting with treatment sessions, both before and during the session.Responsibilities
- Organize, clean, and disinfect gyms, classrooms, and other therapy areas.
- Aid in preparing for and during therapy sessions.
- Work independently and maintain high organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Lift up to 35 lbs and move within the assigned work area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- One year of experience working in a healthcare setting or with children preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation is a plus.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and be highly organized.
- Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
