Job Summary
Job Shift: Days | Job Type: Full Time. The Rehab Supervisor assists Rehabilitation Director or Manager with coordination of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy operations, including performing treatments within the professional's respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient care
- Communication skills
- Orients, trains and supervises new staff as well as current staff
- Special projects
Qualifications
Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in OT or PT. Preferred: Master's Degree in SLP.
Experience: Required – three years or more acute care experience. Desired – 1 year or more in a supervisory capacity.
Licensure: Licensed by Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
Certifications: Required: Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist, as required by State law; Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or documentation that you are in the process of completing CCC, in the case of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP; Basic CPR.
