Rehab Director

About the role

The primary purpose of the position is to manage the day-to-day operations and provide direct clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the rehab department
• Provide direct clinical care to patients
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Train and supervise therapy staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• South Carolina License as either a PT, OT, SLP, or COTA
• Experience in a leadership role within a rehabilitation setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
• Current licensure in South Carolina
• At least 3 years of relevant experience

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols
