Rehab Counselor III

Job Summary

Join our team as a Rehab Counselor III, providing support and guidance to individuals in recovery. This onsite, contract position in Philadelphia, PA, requires working night shifts from Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in substance abuse counseling or working with the homeless population
• Knowledge of support systems for substance abusers or the homeless
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Availability for local travel and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) preferred
• Ongoing coursework in Drug and Alcohol Counseling
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Experience in conducting psycho-educational groups
• Proficient in written and verbal communication
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay

$19.00-$20.00 Per HR
