Rehab Aide- Full Time Parsons
Summary
Labette Healthis seeking a Rehab Aide to support our Outpatient Therapy team in providing outstanding patient care. This position plays an important role in helping maintain therapy flow, assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring patients have a positive experience throughout their rehabilitation journey. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in healthcare, physical therapy or occupational therapy, or who enjoys working directly with patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment between patient visits
- Aid therapists with patient flow and non-clinical support tasks
- Help transport or escort patients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of rehab areas
- Support scheduling, clerical, and front desk activities as needed
- Aid with monitoring exercise activities under therapist direction
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Create a positive, encouraging therapy environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a busy environment
- Interest in healthcare or rehabilitation preferred
- Previous healthcare, fitness, or customer service experience is helpful but not required
