We develop forward-looking, intelligently designed active and passive investment strategies. The Fund Administration team — professionals covering Accounting Oversight and Regulatory Reporting — partners closely with Portfolio operations, Portfolio management, Product management, IT, Legal, and Tax to keep our mutual fund and ETF businesses running. As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you'll own a meaningful slice of that work from day one, with real visibility into the full lifecycle of fund reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports which includes loading fund data, analyzing for discrepancies and problem resolution. Reports include:
    • Annual and semi-annual financial statements and shareholder reports
    • Regulatory filings including 24f-2, N-PX, NFA, TSR, N-CSR and N-CEN
  • Active involvement with yearly fund audits where the individual prepares reports, liaises with internal and external teams to ensure the successful and timely completion of this critical business requirement
  • Prepare expense budgets and make expense payments
  • Prepare Board of Trustees reports
  • Review and report on securities lending activity
  • Monitor for potential productivity efficiencies and cost savings and report to management
  • Identify and implement AI-driven automation and process improvements within existing reporting models and procedures, reporting findings and outcomes to management
  • Assist with department and company projects as requested by management

Requirements

  • Knowledge about different asset classes (equity, fixed income) and investment products (mutual funds, ETFs)
  • Quantitative orientation; track record of data analysis and process improvement
  • Ability to understand the business objectives and processes of the firm including how data flows throughout the different systems and organization
  • Exposure to financial reporting platforms and software packages is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Ability to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; Finance or a related business discipline acceptable
  • 2+ years of experience in fund administration and financial reporting preferred

Pay

If this position will be performed in whole or in part in New York City, the base salary range is $65,000 – $75,000. Individual salaries may vary based on different factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this position.

Location: Tampa, FL (preferred) or New York, NY

FLSA Status: Full-Time Exempt
