About the role

This is a temporary, full-time (40 hours/week) assignment estimated to run from August to December 2026, depending on business need. You will be employed by a temporary employment agency that we will connect you with if hired for this position.

Reporting to the Operations Business Analysis Manager, you will coordinate between departments and the Compliance Division to meet regulatory and compliance deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Review new regulatory requirements and provide initial interpretation.
  • Assist with new requirements and collaborate with departments to mitigate compliance deficiencies.
  • Draft policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure documented processes accurately reflect current operations and are compliant.
  • Coordinate with departments within the Division to draft audit deliverables in response to corrective actions.
  • Support departments with regulatory reporting, including developing reporting requirements and ensuring reports are delivered timely.

Requirements

Knowledge of:

  • Windows-based PC systems and Microsoft Word, Excel (including pivot tables), Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Research, analysis, and reporting methods.
  • Basic standards in business analysis.

Ability to:

  • Interpret and apply complex regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Think critically to make informed recommendations.
  • Draft policies, procedures, workflows, written reports, and other program documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care, Business, or a related field and a minimum of two years of experience conducting or supporting business analysis activities, including some experience related to project coordination or project management (four years of additional experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree).
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role. While interviews will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected. In-office or in-community presence may be required depending on business need.

Pay

Compensation is based on work location and aligned to a zone according to the cost of labor in your area. Final compensation will be determined by qualifications, internal equity, market factors, and geographic location.

  • Zone 1 Pay Range: $38 - $43.25 (Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey Counties, Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego areas).
  • Zone 2 Pay Range: $35 - $40.63 (Mariposa, Merced Counties, Fresno area, Bakersfield, Eastern California, San Luis Obispo area, Central Valley except Sacramento).
