Regulatory Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Regulatory Lead to manage regulatory compliance activities and strengthen the company's Quality Management System. This role serves as Teguar's primary regulatory expert and will be responsible for maintaining certifications, supporting global market access, improving quality processes, and representing Teguar during customer audits, compliance reviews, and external regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Own Teguar's regulatory compliance strategy and execution across product lines
  • Manage certifications and regulatory approvals including safety, EMC, environmental, and regional market access requirements
  • Serve as primary liaison to certification agencies, laboratories, auditors, and regulatory authorities
  • Maintain regulatory technical files, declarations of conformity, and compliance documentation
  • Partner with Engineering and Product Management to integrate regulatory requirements into product development
  • Lead regulatory impact assessments for product and supplier changes
  • Support and continuously improve Teguar's Quality Management System
  • Cookordination internal and external audits
  • Drive CAPA, risk management, and change-control activities related to compliance
  • Support customer audits, compliance inquiries, and quality reviews
  • Develop compliance training and awareness programs across the organization

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of regulatory affairs, compliance, or quality systems experience
  • Experience managing product certifications and external audits
  • Familiarity with EMC, safety, environmental, and international compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, product management, and quality teams

Preferred

  • Industrial computing, embedded systems, electronics, or medical device experience
  • ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 experience
  • Knowledge of UL, IEC, FCC, CE, RoHS, REACH, and related frameworks
  • Experience participating in customer audits and regulatory inspections
