About the role
The Regulatory Counsel will provide expert legal advice on US gaming laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, advise on government affairs activities, and draft and maintain internal legal guidelines related to regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on US gaming laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advising on government affairs activities, ensuring full compliance with lobbying, ethics, and campaign finance laws.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing clear, practical guidance on complex regulatory and legal affairs matters.
- Drafting and maintaining internal legal guidelines related to regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- At least 8+ years post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house, within gaming or other highly regulated industry.
- An active bar membership.
- Significant experience advising government affairs teams and working with U.S. regulators on licensing and enforcement processes.
- Strong risk management skills and high commercial acumen to understand business drivers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex legal concepts.
- The ability to work independently across different jurisdictions and time zones while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Experience in gaming or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of US gaming laws and regulations.
- Experience with government affairs and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
