Starting Salary
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.
Job Location
This position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Analyze new and renewal applications to ensure all required forms and filings are provided for insurers or insurance-related businesses to conduct business in Missouri.
- Evaluate company compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Review financial statements and identify potential issues.
- Aid insurers and insurance-related businesses regarding application and other filing requirements.
- Investigate potential violations of Missouri insurance law, particularly regarding company licensing and financial regulation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge through a Bachelor’s degree or work experience with specialization in accounting, finance, business, or closely related areas.
- An Associate’s degree or post-secondary course work in these areas will also help you succeed in this position.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other common computer applications.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to recognize and prioritize higher-priority work and meet deadlines.
