Regulatory Affairs Specialist I

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Installation and Maintenance technician to join our growing team, servicing both commercial and residential properties throughout the Seacoast region.

Responsibilities

• Pull and install irrigation pipe and fittings
• Install valves, manifolds, and irrigation components
• Run irrigation wiring and install controllers
• Perform spring system start-ups and inspections
• Conduct mid-season system checks and adjustments
• Perform fall winterizations and system blow-outs
• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Communicate with management regarding service needs and project progress
• Install irrigation systems including:
  • Mainlines and lateral lines
  • Valves and valve boxes
  • Sprinkler heads and rotors
  • Drip irrigation systems
  • Controllers and wiring
  Ensure proper spacing, pressure regulation, and coverage.
• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues including:
  • Broken heads
  • Valve failures
  • Electrical/controller issues
  • Pipe leaks
  • Pressure and coverage problems
• Perform seasonal services such as spring system startup, mid-season adjustments, and fall winterization/blowouts
• Adjust sprinkler heads for proper coverage and efficiency
• Program irrigation controllers for seasonal watering schedules
• Identify opportunities for water conservation and system improvements
• Address customer concerns and provide professional service

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lead a crew and work independently
• Ability to work outdoors and lift materials/equipment as needed
• 1 year of irrigation experience (preferred)
• Ability to commute to Somersworth, NH 03878

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
