Specialty Management, a management services organization supporting specialty medical practices, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support interventional pain management services at practice locations in Newington and Newmarket, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate provider interested in caring for patients with acute and chronic pain in an outpatient clinical setting.

About the Role

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide care for adult patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, including post-operative pain, traumatic pain, chronic non-cancer pain, and cancer-related pain conditions. Care may include medication management, patient education, non-invasive treatment recommendations, therapeutic techniques, and discussion of interventional treatment options when appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage adult patients with acute and chronic pain conditions in an outpatient clinical setting.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with established standards of care and evidence-based practice models.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and members of the clinical team to develop and support appropriate treatment plans.
  • Discuss interventional pain procedures with patients and assist with scheduling when appropriate.
  • Support a multidisciplinary approach to pain management and understand the role of various treatment modalities.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, clinical, and documentation requirements related to pain management care.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients and promote respectful, compassionate interactions at all times.
  • Assist in or perform appropriate office-based procedures, such as trigger point injections, joint injections, or similar procedures, consistent with licensure, training, and clinical protocols.
  • Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and clinical workflows as needed.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Valid New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • Active DEA license, or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Strong clinical judgment and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with pain management preferred.

Pay

Annual compensation of $120,000 – $140,000 per year, with performance-based and yearly bonus opportunities.
