Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active license to practice as an SLP in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience
  • Prior experience within school settings, with knowledge of IEPs and special education procedures
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate approach to student care, with a passion for helping children reach their goals

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessments and teacher/parent collaboration
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students per IEP guidelines
  • Document progress, maintain confidential records, and comply with federal and state requirements
  • Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to align goals and strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and support a positive and inclusive school culture
