Our client, a leading provider in the crop protection and agricultural solutions industry, is seeking an Entry-Level Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their team in a contract, hybrid role based in Chesterfield, MO (St. Louis office). Candidates must be local and able to work onsite as required.

About the role

The ideal candidate will bring experience beyond a traditional laboratory environment, demonstrating the ability to think critically, solve problems independently, manage changing priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced setting. Experience with databases, data management systems, and regulatory documentation is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Support state regulatory activities required to obtain and maintain registrations for crop protection products, including FIFRA Sections 3, 24(c), 2(ee), 18, and 5
  • Communicate with state regulatory agencies regarding submissions, approvals, renewals, and regulatory inquiries
  • Maintain and update regulatory databases, tracking systems, and internal documentation records
  • Review product labels and regulatory documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Track and process state registration fees, including new product registration fees, annual renewal fees, and tonnage fees
  • Interpret and evaluate federal and state registration requirements to support product compliance
  • Provide regulatory support to internal and external stakeholders by responding to requests for regulatory information
  • Scan, organize, and electronically file regulatory documents and supporting materials
  • Manage multiple assignments while adapting to shifting priorities and evolving business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with database management, data entry, maintenance, querying, or analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting regulatory affairs, compliance, or quality-related activities
  • Familiarity with agricultural, chemical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
  • Experience working with document comparison tools
  • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies or external stakeholders
  • Exposure to federal or state regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and independent decision-making

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Chesterfield, MO (St. Louis office). Candidates must be local and able to work onsite as required.

Pay

The approximate pay range for this position is between $26.00 and $34.50 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
