Registrar Receptionist - Clinic Resource Team
About the role
As the Clinic Registrar – Receptionist, you will be on the front line of customer service and support for patients at Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics. This involves performing a broad array of administrative and customer service tasks to process clinic patients and coordinate their needs with physician services.
Kaua'i Medical Clinic is the island’s largest clinic and only multispecialty medical group. More than 85 physicians and midlevel providers offer primary and specialty care at clinic locations in Eleele, Kapaa, Koloa, and Lihue. The Resource team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members who are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and customer service tasks to process clinic patients.
- Coordinate patient needs with physician services.
- Provide front-line customer service and support for patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized medical secretarial program.
- Two (2) years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or other health care setting.
Pay
Pay range: $24.83 - $26.14 USD per hour. Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
Schedule
- Rotating - 12-hour shifts.
- Full Time Temporary.
