Job Title: Registrar

Shift: Mon-Fri, day shift. Rotating evening on Wednesdays
Location: Holy Cross Health Center - Gaithersburg 220 Perry Pkwy Suite 5 Gaithersburg, MD 20877
Position Purpose
The registrar is responsible for servicing all areas and completing all tasks related to the front desk area of a physician practice. As client facing professionals, this position plays a key role in representing the practice in the community.
Serves Patients
- Greet and help patients
- Schedule appointments in person or by telephone
Revenue Generation
- Record and update financial information
- Record and collect patient charges
- Control credit extended to patients
- Filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims
Confidentiality
- Maintain confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
Team Effort
- Achieve related results as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year of physician office experience (preferred)
Pay Range
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
