About the Role

The Registrar supports patient care by accurately capturing and verifying demographic and insurance information through in-person and telephone interactions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families to provide courteous assistance
• Schedule procedures and pre-register patients
• Verify insurance eligibility and secure authorizations
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records
• Prepare documentation for procedures
• Manage medical records and respond to record requests
• Ensure timely communication with physicians

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in healthcare or customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with registration and insurance tools
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Commitment to confidentiality, reliability, and adherence to policies
