This position is responsible for managing patient registration processes, ensuring accurate data entry, insurance verification, and financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients efficiently
• Obtain complete patient information and document payer details
• Handle medical record requests
• Provide patient education on rights and financial assistance
• Ensure proper form completion and compliance with confidentiality and financial regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Clerical experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with insurance authorization
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with EMR systems like Cerner
