Responsibilities

  • Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
  • Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
  • Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
  • Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
  • Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Requirements

  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology

Benefits

Our team benefits from consistent operating hours throughout the week, M-F from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including Saturday availability every other week. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus to new hires.
