Registered Veterinary Technician - Surgical & Inpatient Care
About the role
Silverado Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support inpatient hospital care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing nursing, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. In this position, you will play a key role in both inpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Silverado Veterinary Hospital has been a local favorite since 1979. Our growing multi-doctor team is supported by long-term RVTs and a cross-trained support staff. Our priority has always focused on quality medicine vs. finances, and we are seen as a “unicorn” practice in terms of the value of services offered to our Napa community. At SVH, you can expect state-of-the-art medical care and fantastic team collaboration. We believe in nurturing the human-pet bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and pets. We primarily see small animals, however, we’re also well-equipped to treat the occasional bird, reptile, pocket pet, or wild animal.
