Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

About the Role

Bel-Aire Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) to join our team and support both wellness/outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, motivated, client-focused RVT who is dependable and eager to jump in where needed. Our ideal candidate is someone who can handle a busy, fast-paced environment while still providing excellent patient care, paying close attention to detail, and maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assisting in surgery
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

Requirements

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of North Carolina

Pay

$23 - $25 per hour

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, no weekends.
