Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

About the role

Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assisting in surgery
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

Requirements

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of Ohio (out-of-state license-holders eligible to transfer are also encouraged to apply)

Pay

$22–$26 per hour, with individual pay determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Full-time position, with availability needed Monday–Friday. We aim to schedule our team in 4.5-day work weeks and are also open to part-time scheduling.
