Registered Veterinary Technician - Lead
About the role
Eastlake Veterinary Services is looking for a full-time Lead Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team in Thornton, CO as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end care for pets, including hands-on care such as facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests
- Support services including admitting and discharging patients
- Utilize strong anesthesia skills to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02
- Integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
- Active and current CVT/RVT/LVT certification
- Previous experience in Veterinary Leadership strongly preferred
- Positive work attitude and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and organization skills

Pay
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $29 – $32 per hour. The actual compensation will consider a wide range of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
