About the role

Jamacha Pet Vets is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians eager to fully utilize their surgical and anesthesia expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient care in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure an efficient surgical and procedural workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and patients.
• Communicate with clients to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide discharge instructions with empathy and clarity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Surgery Prep
  • Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring
  • Surgery Recovery

Schedule

Full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, Monday–Friday.
