Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
- Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
- Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
- Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
- 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Ohio

Pay
Compensation: $20-25 per hour, for each hour worked
Schedule
This position is a full-time position, with a 4-10s schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, and 1-2 Saturdays per month. We are also open to part-time scheduling.

We’ve proudly served Wheelersburg, OH, and the surrounding areas of Portsmouth, Ironton, and Greenup, KY, for years. Our DVM team has nearly 65 years of combined experience and we have a talented support team, including an RVT. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics, internal medicine, and complex surgical procedures, dogs and cats receive high quality care at our hospital.
