About the role
Join the VCA Fort Collins team as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, this position offers full-time employment with Saturday availability. The pay range is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Applications are due by August 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients
- Support technician and doctor teams
- Win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience
- Utilize skills such as physical examinations, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, dental procedures, radiology, laboratory work, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy, patient recovery, and compassionate care of hospitalized animals
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must hold a current CVT, RVT, or LVT credential.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in veterinary technology practices
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- Knowledge of basic veterinary pharmacology
