About the Role
At Colony Park Animal Hospital, we believe exceptional veterinary care starts with a supportive and engaged team. Our AAHA-accredited hospital is currently seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician who enjoys patient care, teamwork, and creating a positive experience for both pets and clients. Our multi-doctor small animal practice provides preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and compassionate treatment in a collaborative environment where technicians are encouraged to fully utilize their skills.
What We're Looking For
- Active RVT credentials in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
- Strong technical abilities including:
- anesthesia monitoring
- venipuncture and catheter placement
- surgical assistance
- dental and digital radiography
- Comfortable managing appointments, treatments, and hospitalized patients
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A dependable team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment and contributes positively to hospital culture
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
- Perform laboratory sample collection and processing
- Capture diagnostic-quality radiographs, including dental imaging
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Educate pet owners on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation
- Support efficient patient flow and high-quality client service throughout the day

Pay & Schedule
- Pay Range: $24.00-$28.00/hr | Based on experience
- Schedule: Full Time | Rotating Saturdays
