Registered Veterinary Technician

About the Role

Chagrin Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dedicated team. Our practice provides high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including both companion animals and large animals. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and diagnostic imaging
• Monitor anesthesia and support patients throughout surgical recovery
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Prepare and maintain surgical, treatment, and examination areas
• Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Support efficient patient flow and collaborate with the entire hospital team
• Help create a compassionate and positive experience for every client and patient

Requirements

• Current Ohio RVT license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong technical and patient-care skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• A compassionate, dependable, and team-focused attitude
• The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• An interest in continuing education and professional growth
• Experience with large animals is welcomed but not required
