Responsibilities
- Performing all diagnostic vascular examinations including PVR/ABI exams, TCD bubble studies and venous reflux studies.
- Knowledge of peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology and the ability to differentiate artifact from appropriate images.
- Provide complete and diagnostic preliminary reporting for physician review and interpretation.
- Professional and courteous communication with patients, explaining the exam and answering patient questions to the best of their ability.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain positive interactions with patients and other team members.
- Maintaining ultrasound equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
- Cleaning ultrasound equipment and exam rooms between patients.
Requirements
- BLS certified.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $42.00- $50.00 based on experience and qualifications.
