Registered Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Serving as independent functioning Survey Field Crew Chief.
• Calculating survey staking points from engineering and construction drawings and specifications.
• Utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation to convert field data into deliverables to be used during the design process.
• Interpreting historical survey data, property deeds and other title information, along with other evidence to establish parcel boundary lines and landnets to be used in design and easement creation.
• Utilizing survey data collectors to operate survey instrumentation for collecting data for platmaking, construction, land and other surveys.
• Coinciding and communicating with engineering and construction team members.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, 5 years' related experience in the survey field working under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor Licenses preferred but not required.
• Successful applicant should be on the path to licensure required if not currently licensed (FLS exam passed or scheduled, etc.).
• CST Certification also preferred if not licensed.
• Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking.
• Travel and driving will be required.
• Successful applicant is subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
