Registered Sleep Technologist - St. Charles Hospital - Port Jefferson, NY

About the role

MedBridge Healthcare is growing, and we are looking for talented Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs) to join our team in the Port Jefferson, NY area. This opportunity is available full-time or part-time, with weekend night shifts. Great opportunity for Respiratory Therapists interested in earning their Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight sleep studies and collect comprehensive clinical data
• Prepare equipment, apply sensors/electrodes, and ensure proper calibration
• Fit and troubleshoot airway pressure masks
• Score and analyze respiratory, cardiac, and sleep-related events
• Follow all safety, compliance, and documentation standards

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program
• NY PSG license and/or CRT/RT license required
• RPSGT certification preferred (NY PSG or RT license still required without RPSGT)
• BCLS/CPR certification
• All required vaccinations and immunizations
• Strong technical skills and exceptional patient care focus

Pay

Competitive pay range: $40–$53/hr (experience-based, no gaps in RPSGT work greater than 2 months).
