A Day in the Life

• Calibrate, monitor, measure, document, and treat all aspects of sleep studies including PSG, PAP Titration, CO2 Monitoring, Oxygen Administration, etc.
• Score polysomnograms and generate reports summarizing sleep/wake periods, REM episodes, arousal analyses, EEG phenomena, cardiac events, respiratory events, limb movements, and other physiological events according to current AASM guidelines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot HSAT problems and center equipment.
• Assist with sleep center new employee orientation as needed.
• Maintain supply inventory in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) (RPSGT), National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) with some sleep experience, or American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) with some sleep experience.
