Job Summary

About the role

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a contract position in Worland, WY. The schedule includes 36-hour shifts, with 12-hour shifts starting at 06:45 and ending at 19:15, and 8-hour shifts starting at 08:00 and ending at 16:30. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with one week every three weeks for Cardiac Rehab.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients requiring respiratory care with evidence-based protocols.
  • Perform and monitor prescribed therapies, including ventilator support.
  • Track and report key performance metrics and meet targets.
  • Uphold compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality initiatives.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans aligned to measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify improvements and adjust treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment and ensure safety standards.
  • Document care activities accurately in electronic health records.
  • Educate patients and families about therapies, devices, and self-care.
  • Demonstrate professional development through ongoing training and certification upkeep.

Requirements

  • WY DFS, NBRC, BLS and NRP certifications.
  • Dress Code is Hunter Green scrubs.
  • Call and weekends are required and shared.

Qualifications

  • Current RRT certification with active license to practice.
  • Experience documenting patient care and therapies in electronic health records.
  • Proven ability to manage ventilator support and prescribed respiratory therapies.
  • Strong data literacy with ability to track KPIs and meet performance targets.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Clinical assessment skills to identify treatment improvements and adjust plans.
  • Excellent collaboration with physicians and care teams for optimized outcomes.
  • Maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment with safety adherence.
  • Education delivery to patients and families on therapies, devices, and self-care.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and certification upkeep.
