Registered Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

About the role

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is needed in a Hospital setting. The position is a Travel Contract, with a 60 mile radius rule. The shift is Nights, 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient’s condition and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Must have 2 years RRT experience during the past 3 years, including travel experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS - AHA or Red Cross)
• Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS - AHA or Red Cross)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Current Drivers License (DL)
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Active National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
