Registered Respiratory Therapist - Nights
Full-time, 36 hours weekly – 12-hour night shift (7 pm – 7 am). $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
- Performs respiratory care procedures in response to patient needs and physician direction/orders.
- Assesses the respiratory status of assigned patients through physical exam, chart review, and response to ordered therapy; makes recommendations to achieve an optimal level of response to the intervention ordered.
- Performs airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required.
- Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, and other staff to ensure the quality of care given.
- Provides care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients (as defined in the unit scope of care).
- Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient’s age to ensure care meets unique physical and psychosocial needs.
- Involves appropriate parties (e.g., patient’s family or guardian, outside agencies) in the assessment, treatment, and continuing care of the patient as needed.
Requirements
- Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current licensure from the state of Maryland as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current BLS & ACLS (issued through the American Heart Association).
- NRP certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of clinical experience highly preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification if working in NICU/Special Care Nursery.
Pay
Pay range: $33.73 - $50.59 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
