About the role
Join a leading academic medical center as a Respiratory Therapist and provide advanced respiratory care in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures following established standards and guidelines.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members through effective communication and documentation.
- Educating patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments, utilizing diverse learning styles.
- Applying advanced clinical skills such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep lab procedures.
- Ensuring patient safety and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licenses and certifications including Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, and BLS.
- Ability to perform multiple duties with effective time management.
Students within six months of graduation are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
- Full-time day shifts, including 12-hour shifts and rotating on-call duties.
- Every third weekend commitment.
Pay
Sign-on bonus of $10,000 available.
