Registered Respiratory Therapist (Full-Time)

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. The therapist acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and performing assigned duties. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy.
• Follow physician orders.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Consult on therapy effectiveness.
• Perform assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements.
• Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.

Skills

• Critical care experience (preferred).
• Certifications such as ACLS (preferred).

Physical and Equipment Requirements

• Physical ability to push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs., kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Use of all appropriate respiratory care devices.
