Registered Respiratory Therapist

The Registered Respiratory Care Therapist under the direction of the Manager, Director, and Vice President performs all duties of a Certified Respiratory Therapist, taking an active role in service education and orientation programs. They evaluate respiratory care modality efficacy and protocol programs, interpret patient information, communicate effectively, perform calculations, and manage interpersonal and organizational tasks.

• Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient
• Affirms data reflective of the patient's status

Responsibilities

• Trained for the NICU must have NRP credential
• Trained for adult ICUs and/or Emergency Room must have ACLS credential
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year related respiratory care experience

Requirements

• Successful completion of a two (2) year AMA approved program or equivalent
• Accredited by CoARC for respiratory care
• High School Diploma
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist with a passing score on NBRC certification exam
• Licensed by the State of Missouri as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• BLS Certification

• Minimum of one (1) year related respiratory care experience

• Pay period: 72 hours per 2 weeks
