Registered Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview: Provides routine and advanced respiratory care for infant, pediatric, and adult patients, including airway management such as intubation, extubation, and tracheotomy care. Performs electrocardiograms, implements cardiopulmonary modalities, and may assist with pulmonary function testing, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress testing. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced airway procedures and ventilator management Conduct electrocardiograms across various hospital departments Apply cardiopulmonary protocols for diverse patient populations Support departmental duties as required Qualifications And Skills Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License and Registered Respiratory Therapist credential Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Proficiency in use of high flow devices, BPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and Bubble CPAP Ability to perform electrocardiograms and support pulmonary and cardiac testing Additional Information: The role offers opportunities for educational growth, shift differentials, liability insurance, loan forgiveness, and access to electronic charting systems.
