Registered Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and care for patients experiencing respiratory insufficiencies.
- Implement and continuously monitor the patient care plan and associated respiratory equipment.
- Monitor, accurately record, and effectively communicate changes in the patient's condition to the care team.
- Evaluate respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment effectiveness based on patient outcomes.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Critical Care credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) from National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
Qualifications
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Pay
Salary range: $34.72 - $48.41 per hour
