  • ROLE DESCRIPTION

    At Stephanie Owens Agency, you’ll be a Registered Representative helping customers protect what matters and plan for their future. You’ll talk with people, learn what they need, and match them with the right financial/investment options.

    And if you’re new to the business—don’t worry. We’ll train you. You don’t have to walk in knowing everything. We’ll coach you on our process, help you get comfortable talking with customers, and make sure you feel supported while you build confidence and momentum.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Talk with customers about investment options and help educate them (we’ll teach you what to say and how we do it).
    • Complete financial needs conversation and recommend products that fit their goals.
    • Help customers feel taken care of by managing portfolios and providing ongoing support.
    • Stay up to date on market trends and required regulations (training provided to keep you on track).
    • Join customer presentations and seminars when needed—again, with guidance as you get started.
    • Keep accurate records of meetings, transactions, and customer interactions.
    • Follow all compliance rules and do things the right way.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • IAR and Series 6 & 65 (or you’ve passed one and are currently studying for the other).
    • A willingness to learn investment products and financial markets (and keep learning).
    • Friendly, clear communication skills—people need to feel comfortable with you.
    • Ability to build real relationships and follow through.
    • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
    • High integrity, professionalism, and a “do it right” mindset.

    COMPENSATION

    $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

    • We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Business Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
    • We currently have 11 team members at our agency.
