Registered Radiology Technologist

Radiology Technologists at Cleveland Clinic Stow Falls Express Care work alongside passionate caregivers to provide patient-first healthcare. This role involves performing various radiology exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients and process billing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
• Physical Requirements: Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Skills

• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.
• Ability to operate x-ray equipment.
• Ability to educate patients.
• Ability to address equipment malfunctions.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $29.00 - $44.50 per hour, with a minimum hourly rate of $29.00 and a maximum hourly rate of $44.50. The pay range does not include shift differentials, overtime, or other applicable pay practices.

Schedule

Rotating days/evenings, Monday-Friday, from 7:30AM – 4:00PM or 11:30AM – 8:00PM and every 4th Saturday-Sunday from 7:30AM – 4:00PM.
