About the role

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. Specializing in goals-based wealth management—including planning for retirement, education, legacy, and other life goals—Merrill’s Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue the life they envision through personalized advisory relationships. The role serves as the primary point of contact for client service support, addressing all service needs while customizing solutions to align with Financial Advisors' (FAs) business objectives and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent client service by educating clients on the bank’s service and banking offerings.
  • Ensures timeliness, accuracy, and completeness in client materials and follows up on all client and Financial Advisor (FA) requests.
  • Aligns practices with the bank’s policies and procedures to support operational excellence, protect clients, and manage risk.
  • Identifies, deepens, and maintains client relationships by emphasizing the bank’s offerings and promoting banking integration into daily practices.
  • Supports day-to-day team activities, including covering roles during absences or seasonal demand increases, with a client-first mindset.

Requirements

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 (Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of 66). If these licenses are not held, they must be obtained within a specified timeframe for registered roles.
  • Possesses advanced industry knowledge and an understanding of investment products.
  • Demonstrates a client-centric mindset, always acting in the best interest of the client.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Portuguese or English and Spanish (desired).
  • Experience working with clients, quickly fulfilling their needs, delivering complex solutions, and providing an excellent client experience.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
