Registered Pharmacy Technician .Immediate Joining!
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound calls to customers, providing a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity.
- Handle direct in-person and phone-based customer interactions to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries about pharmacy services and delivery.
- Answer questions related to pharmacy services, delivery inquiries, refill requests, and general pharmacy assistance.
- Receive and process new pharmacy referrals, ensuring accurate and complete information is obtained.
- Verify insurance coverage for prescribed medications and related services.
- Facilitate prior authorization requests, coordinating with prescribers, payers, and patients as needed.
- Accurately transcribe prescriptions into the pharmacy system, ensuring correct medication, dosage, and directions.
- Carefully coordinate medication delivery logistics, serving as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries and associated needs.
- Support pharmacological services by editing and verifying fill lists, including insurance information, last fill dates, billing, and toting.
- Carefully coordinate initiation of care with patients or caregivers, referral sources, and other providers of care.
- Enter patient information into the patient record accurately and completely, maintaining all records in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in a medical insurance, billing, or customer service environment.
- Strong knowledge of medication brand names, generic equivalents, dosing, and day supply calculations.
- Proficiency with pharmacy operations including order entry, fulfillment, labeling, inventory management, and prior authorization processes.
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Access.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
