About the role

Under supervision of the pharmacists, is able to accomplish all areas with the mechanical preparation of prescriptions for final check by pharmacists.

Responsibilities

• Order entry into computer profile
• Pulling and counting medications
• Processing of third party billings
• Inventory replacement and management

Requirements

• Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications
• Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician Program preferred

License/Registration/Certification

• Current Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
