About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Nutritional Dietitian to join our team in the greater Cleveland area. In this dynamic role, you will provide critical support for clinic vacancies and leaves of absence across our network, ensuring our patients continue to receive the highest standard of nutritional care. This position involves intermittent travel throughout the month to support our regional facilities and offers a $5,000 retention bonus paid out within the first 2 years of employment.

• Leadership Growth: Opportunity for an RD with renal experience to take on higher-level responsibilities, mentor peers, and guide clinic nutrition operations during transitions.
• Flexible Scheduling: Your schedule will adapt to support various clinics as needs arise, offering a varied, engaging, and impactful work environment.
• Intermittent Travel: While based out of the Cleveland area, this position involves travel to support regional facilities.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
• Support clinic vacancies and leaves of absence across the network.
• Float to multiple facilities as needed.
• Mentor peers and guide clinic nutrition operations during transitions.

Requirements

• State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and float to multiple facilities.
• After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.
