Registered Nurse (Wound Care)

A vital role delivering high-quality wound care services to residents. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate wound care needs of residents, identifying potential risks and developing plans to prevent complications
• Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including education and training for residents and families
• Provide ongoing wound care management, including debridement, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal wound care outcomes
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on wound care prevention and management

Requirements

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Wound care certification (desirable)
• 1+ year of experience in wound care or a related field
• Strong assessment and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
