Registered Nurse - Women's & Couplet Care

About the role

The Couplet Care team provides comprehensive, family-centered care to postpartum patients and their newborns, focusing on recovery, bonding, and education.

Responsibilities

• Assume care of stable postpartum patients and newborns following recovery, typically beginning around 2 hours of life.
• Perform ongoing maternal and newborn assessments, monitoring for changes and responding appropriately.
• Support infant feeding, including breastfeeding and formula feeding, in collaboration with lactation consultants.
• Provide education on newborn care, maternal recovery, safe sleep, and discharge readiness.
• Promote bonding and family-centered care while supporting emotional and physical recovery.
• Collaborate with OB, pediatric, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Requirements

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shift: 7pm-7am, weekend and holiday rotation required. Call: 1 call shift per schedule. Status: Full Time - rotating schedule (3 shift week/2 shift week rotation) or 3 shifts/week schedule available.
